God cloud...

Rain in East Texas.  I took this pic yesterday morning, it was right over the pasture in front of my house!  I call it a God cloud!   It was amazing.
Reminds me of this verse in Proverbs 30:4, which I read yesterday, because it was May 30.... not coincidental...
"Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is  his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know!"

I know!  It is God, the maker and ruler of all things!  And his son is Jesus!

The very first verse of the Bible is:
Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

The very last two verses of the Bible is:
Revelation 22:20-21
"He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon".
Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen."

Financial Barometer...be informed~

Click on the link above.

Snippet from the article,
"The barometer is telling us that heavy weather is again approaching. Financial turbulence can be expected. It could come from European banks or it could come from American banks. There is no way to tell. The stock prices of big U.S. banks and European banks are telling the same story."

Chili Cheese Dog Casserole...really...

Chili Cheese Dog Casserole... Yes, really...

Roll 8 Beef Hotdogs in 8 (10") warmed Flour tortillas.
Place 1 cup of your favorite chili on the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
Place rolled dogs on chili.
Pour 4 cups of chili on rolled dogs and top with shredded cheese.
Crush 2 cups Frito's on cheese.
Bake in 350 oven for 25-30 minutes.

Ahhh, I love this!

A mess...

This little boy was a mess yesterday afternoon.  Such a smart mouth, he has..... I finally asked him if he had eaten from the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil"?  he emphatically, said "NO"!

hahahahaha..... he knows the story of Adam and Eve.  And, he knows you should not eat of that tree!  lol

It goes to show you that these little creatures listen to what you say!  Teach your children while they are young.  It reminds me of these verse in the Old Testament, Deut 6:7,
"Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Mother's Day, I am blessed !

I am so blessed!  Layton picked the purple flowers and handed to me this afternoon.  Lauren knows I do not care for bought cards from her, so she made me this card.  As long as I can remember she has loved glue...scissors, and construction paper.  I love this card!!!!!!  The round plates are a gift, she knows I love bright colors and different plates... Oh my, love these kids!

So, it's just the little things y'all!  Momma's love anything with thought!

Happy  Mother's Day to my sweet, beautiful Mother also!
She has taught me most of all contentment!  Her favorite verses, of which I love also, are,
Proverbs 30:7-9
“Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.

I surely hope everyone had a peaceful day!

Be Still Y'all...

Exodus 14:14
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still".

Psalm 46:10
"Be still, and know that I am God;"

I received an email today from James MacDonald's website, written by Todd Dugard...
Entitled, "Am I doing something wrong?"
"And what are His purposes for me?
 Answer:
to set me apart from the world,
to have me know His power,
to have me man-up and trust Him,
and to have me know that His ways are far greater than my ways.

And if those are the purposes, they can be accomplished whether I’m experiencing good times or bad. So in fact, life may be really hard for you right now, and yet you may be doing everything right.
God is simply doing what He needs to do to accomplish His purposes. "

God redeems each situation for HIS good...why do I fear?  Be still, Be still, KNOW, truly,
sincerely, trust that God is right next to me, fighting for me each day.  I try each moment of the day to visualize that God is standing right next to me...everywhere, every minute...right next to me...I will not fear... I will not be disappointed, because I know what is happening each moment is part of His divine will for each and every situation.  Be still y'all, know that HE is GOD.

I will Adore You!...

My very favorite song.... I started reading Revelation today.  Rev 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega" says the Lord God,
"who is and
who was, and
who is to come,
the Almighty".

John goes on to say in Revelation 1:17-18
"When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead.
Then he placed his right hand on me and said,
"Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One.  I was dead, and behold
I am alive for ever and ever!

This is the "Revelation" song by Kari Jobe.  Click on the link below.

Notice the little blue bird, in remembering back, I think that little bird inspired me.
Surely, my very favorite word! Surely is in the Bible over and over and over.  It means "without doubt", with confidence!  Plain and simple, Jesus reigns, no doubt, for ever and ever and if you believe in HIM, you will live forever!

Surely,
Have a fun day today!

Supply and demand...

What Q1 statistics say about the future of Texas real estate markets,

The Texas housing market gained positive momentum in the first quarter of 2012, according to the 2012-Q1 edition of the Texas Quarterly Housing Report.  Here are some highlights from the report:
From January through March 2012, the volume of single-family home sales in Texas was 45,502, 12% more than the same quarter in 2011.
The median price for Texas homes during the quarter was $147,100, 2.7% more than 2011-Q1.

Months inventory decreased from 7.6 months statewide in 2011-Q1 to 6.0 months in the first quarter of this year. Economists at the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University say that 6.5 months of inventory represents a balanced market.

The 21% drop in housing stock could mean demand is starting to overtake supply and Texas home prices are about to rise again.

My two cents:
Even though these stats are statewide, Tyler has definitely been on the upturn.  I am seeing multiple offers and buyers are having to make quicker decisions when it comes to choosing the housing they love.  I have also seen more interest in new construction.   You know, sellers are also getting right on pricing their houses when listed. It is all about supply and demand.  Remember taking college economics, I cringe as I think of taking Economics... Guess I should have paid more attention in that class.  ha!
All in all, the first part of the year has started out good!  I am encouraged!

Internet the best way?

Where did TEXAS buyers find the home they purchased in 2011?

Internet                                                   39%
Real Estate Agent                                   29%
Homebuilder or homebuilder's agent     15%
Yard Sale/open-house sign                      8%
Friend, Relative, or neighbor                   7%
Directly from the seller                            2%
Print-newspaper advertisement                1%

MY two cents on this survey-
Yes, Internet is the best way to advertise.  Some will read this survey and think, wow, only 29% of homebuyers real estate agent's found their homes for them...  but wait,
Internet 39%....guess who advertises and pays for all the sites that these houses are listed...yes, Realtors/Brokers bare all the expense.  So when a buyer says, I found my home myself on the internet, they found their  home because a Realtor/Broker  had spent their time, money and risk to advertise this property.

Add 39%, 29% 15% = 83% of buyers purchased their homes due to a Broker/Realtor being involved.

Realtors are valuable in the home buying process and will always be.  We bring the personal touch and expertise to the transaction.  How many professionals can you call numerous times, at any time of the day, and incur NO charges, unless the transaction survives closing?

Before I became a Realtor/Broker, I always hired a Realtor... I loved my Realtor. (Donna!) :)

I want to be your Realtor for life!  Buying and Selling property with confidence, Surely!
