My cup runneth over...

I had a great week, not one, but many answered prayers! Indeed, my cup runneth over! I have given God the glory many times ...


Jonah 2:2
"In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry.

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely
goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."

I love the word "surely", I just love saying it, it means "without fail, undoubtedly, with confidence". Mercy means "compassion".
Without fail, goodness and compassion will follow me all the days of my life.. and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever!!!
I think I may have to add this verse to my mission statement on my website- Surely...

Jenni, Mother and I...

Jenni, one of my many cousins, but my favorite petite cousin! I am thinking she looks more like my mother than me. I guess I am a chip off the ole block, my daddy :) This picture was taken a week ago at my mother's sister's "50th birthday" at the lake. It was a fun day!
Jenni knows I love cupcakes...and sent me this picture. My favorite color is "pink"...hmmm.

I love Peaches...


Peachy Fruit Pizza Recipe

Crust and Topping
1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts, if desired

Filling
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches, drained, patted dry

Glaze, if desired
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons milk

1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). In large bowl, mix cake mix, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon with spoon until crumbly; reserve 1 cup mixture for topping. Press remaining crumbly mixture on bottom and side of ungreased 12-inch pizza pan or in bottom only of ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
2. In small bowl, beat sour cream and egg with spoon until blended. Carefully spread over crust. Top with peaches. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture and the nuts.
3. Bake 12-inch pizza pan 29 to 34 minutes, 13x9-inch pan 33 to 37 minutes or until topping is light golden brown and center is set. Cool 30 minutes.
4. In another small bowl, stir all glaze ingredients until consistency of thick syrup, adding additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, if necessary. Drizzle glaze over warm pizza. Serve warm or cool. Store covered in refrigerator.

Strong Tower...

Proverbs 18:10

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."

When I envision this verse, I think of a Lighthouse...(n.) A tower or other building with a powerful light at top, erected at the entrance of a port, or at some important point on a coast, to serve as a guide to mariners at night.

I think of my problems, concerns, and cares, as the waves...crashing on the tower (God), but HE is not moved...strong towers do not move. I see myself as the one in the picture above, SAFE in the midst of the storm.

Perfection...


I had the most perfect day today on my birthday. Thanks to everyone for the Facebook messages, cards and gifts. I am truly blessed. On top of that my mother told me my future, and it lies in the scripture below: Awesome!

Probably one of my favorite foods, marshmallows, chocolate, and icing...Omg, what a combination...and just look at the presentation. I love the look and shape of "cupcakes". I think you should make these for me Lauren... :)

Humpty Dumpty...

I laughed and laughed...when I read this today! But, really it is about the truth, if you think about it. Our society does not like to take responsibility for anything we do. We blame someone else for all of our problems. How many times do we hear, "it's not my fault"...hmmm...
I am thinking that I read way too much on the internet... :)

Srooms...

Jason gave me these cute metal "srooms", mushrooms for my birthday...He knows that I love the store, "In the Wind"...cute, cute... thank you JB...I know you read my blog everyday, I love you Ridiculously... :)

We do have a Shadow...

Psalms 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I was thinking about this verse this morning and my mind instantly thought of a mother hen and her chicks ...I cannot think of anything more vulnerable than a baby chick...their mother protects them by opening her wings, she shadows them. I know I am vulnerable, that I can be easily hurt or attacked, and that all I have to do is rest in God's almighty shadow.

I woke up in the middle of the night, I sometimes do this, and I catch myself praying. I was praying that God would lead me in whatever direction that he wants me to go. Sometimes I feel that I am just floundering, but this morning I was reading a devotional and the above verse was the key verse. So, once again, not coincidental, God spoke to ME, he is with me and will guide me. If you look and listen, you will hear.

YaYa Sisterhood...

My YaYa's gave me a birthday party last night.....thanks to Lisa for opening up her home! Lisa, Carol, me, Betty, Ann, Melody, Patti, Stephanie, and Debra... we missed those of you that could not make it! I love all of you!
We did not take a picture last night..... :( so here is an older one!

Thank you Betty for the flowers and birthday cake...probably my most favorite thing in the world, white cake and buttercream icing...yum!!!

Distribution Trumps Destination...

I am a member of a group of internet professionals, (e-PRO)...this is a good read! Here is an explantion of "Distribution Trumps Destination".
The number one, most visited real estate website last week (according to Hitwise.com) had 8% of the total (it was REALTOR.com), the second most visited had 3.40 percent Zillow)...the top 20 sites garnered less than 50% of the total visits.
What we know is that people search on different sites in different ways...some would prefer to search on their handheld, and some still like print...also, consider the long tail...somewhere there is a buyer for everything, so, as a broker of anything, you need to find buyers for your sellers. If you are a seller, would you want a broker to do the best to reach the greatest number of potential buyers? I think that is a reasonable seller expectation. Distribution trumps destination, that is, better than one place, many places.

Well, I do not know about the rest of you in blogosphere, but I struggle with this one... no matter what situation I am in, I pray that I can remember and quote this verse. I love this little bird, named "goodthoughts". I ventured across him while blogging, he always is traveling down a bright path with red shoes on! (artist is Debbie Warnock) ahhh...
