Drill, Thrill and Skill...

WWow, this is good!

I can just hear this being read aloud!

Molding a Man

When God wants to drill a man,
And thrill a man, And skill a man,
When God wants to mold a man
To play the noblest part;
When He yearns with all His heart.
To create so great and bold a man
That all the world shall be amazed,
Watch His methods, watch His ways!

How He ruthlessly perfects
Whom He royally elects!
How He hammers him and hurts him,
And with mighty blows converts him
Into trial shapes of clay which
Only God understands;
While his tortured heart is crying
And he lifts beseeching hands!

How He bends but never breaks
When his good He undertakes;
How He uses whom He chooses,
And with every purpose fuses him;
By every act induces him
To try His splendor out—
God knows what He’s about!

If there is anything I can relate to, it is making cookies.  You know the dough has to be mixed just right, the best ingredients, and rolled to just the right thickness.  That perfect cookie cutter has been selected by the baker.  I know when I choose the cookie cutter, it has been thought about and there is always a reason for that choice.  And guess what?  Even the scraps that are left over are used.  They may even be the best, because they are the ones with just a liitle extra flour mixed in... What a lesson learned... God has made a choice for how He is molding each of us... Ponder on which cookie cutter God has selected for you?  Or will we ever know? ... I might be the scraps one day, or the perfect warm cookie another, but everyday, I taste just right to the Maker!
