I love this!  I find myself often having to ask forgiveness for juding others'.

Cream Soda Punch...

This is the "sugary syrup"...

Cream Soda Punch

I had this punch at a House Warming a few weeks ago.  I recently posted this recipe on my real estate monthly postcard, which should be in your mailboxes soon!
It is a sugary syrup, then added as a concentrate to Chilled Gingerale!  So refreshing and easy!
I love "make ahead" recipes.

Combine 5 cups sugar and 2 cups water.  Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Cool.
Combine these ingredients and add to the cooled syrup mixture:
1 T Fruit Fresh
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 oz almond extract
1 oz vanilla extract

Add 1 cup concentrate to a 2 liter bottle of gingerale.
Serve over ice.
Makes 90 (4 oz) servings.

Wake up America!...

Wow, to my surprise, reading this passage this morning, after all the controversy with Chick-fi-la this week!  I did not write this passage,  God did...

I read today, II Chronicles 15:12-15

"They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul.  All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman. They took an oath to the Lord with loud acclamation, with shouting and with trumpets and horns. All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side."

Wake up America!  Can you even imagine the peace we might have if this nation would recognize God, and seek him with all our heart and soul?  Can you even imagine, if we put to death all those who did not seek the Lord?  God gave them rest for seeking Him.  In fact, there was peace for 35 years during his reign.  Almost unbelievable, huh?  Why can't we just love and honor the God who made us.  Each breath we take, is because HE gave it to us.

Ponder, seek, find, rejoice, proclaim, believe.

Surely,

God prevailed...

This  business owner said what he meant and meant what he said.  He suffered tremendous pressure from many critics. 

I am reminded in verses that I read today,

II Chronicles 14:11

“Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.”

Whatever you read or heard against Chick-fil-a did not hurt them.  Instead, look how God used everyone for HIS glory!  It surely did my heart good to see this business owner prosper in his stand for God's principles.
