Cute-ness,
Clever and Cute.....
Word of the Day......

I believe most people do not understand the difference between Average and Median. So here goes -- another Real Estate lesson:
The average (or mean) is the sum of the values of all the observations, divided by the number of observations. It is the average value.
The median is the value at which 50% of the observations lie above, and 50% lie below.
Example: You have a list of numbers,
100 + 110 + 130 + 150 + 200 + 225 + 250 + 325 + 500 = 1990 / 9 (numbers) = 221
221 is the Average
200 is the Median
Glad you know the difference now?

Yea it was Red.......
The new buttercream icing, consisted of, 2 sticks of butter, (yes 2), 1 jar of marshmallow creme, powdered sugar and vanilla. I was not loving the taste, so instead of throwing it down the drain, I added one brick of cream cheese and more powdered sugar.
Yes, it was good, how could it not be.......omg, it was fattening. Oh well.......

Layton's First Time in the Pool!
Today, he absolutely loved it. The pool is still a little cool, his little teeth chattered at the end, but he was still loving it. Look at that white belly, above......ha!
Day to Remember
Memorial Day, May 25, 2009. I believe we all forget what Memorial Day is all about. It seems we all get excited about one more day off from work.
Just a few words to remind us of the meaning behind this important day. Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.
Today, I give "thanks" for everyone who has served our Country........and also, for the ones, serving our Country TODAY! God Bless America!!!!

SPLASH.....
At church today, Pastor David Dykes, conveyed a great acronym..... S P L A S H, "Show people Love and show HIM". (Of course, when I thought about blogging the acronym, the splash had to include food, ha!)My prayer each day, is for God to put me exactly where I am suppose to be and that when I walk in a room, people can just breathe and know that I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and that there is something different about me.
We all get so busy with life, what a different world this would be if we would just slow down and Love one another. I am preaching to myself right now...........

So me....
If I have a granddaughter one day, I just think I will have to create a room setting that looks like this picture. This picture makes me reminisce and miss Lauren being at home. It seems we were always changing her room color. She was all girl and all pink. I deal with clients all the time that will not paint a room because, it may not go with the house. Take it from me, paint the room and have fun with your kids. They grow up way too fast. :)
Venus, purrrrrrh....

I scream for Ice Cream!
It's just a Man on a Horse Baby Girl.....
There is a famous quote in the movie, you may remember it......"It's just a man on a Horse Baby Girl, nothing more than a man on a horse". I am sure my mother just loves seeing my daddy on his horse. Settle down Mother........
Married "49" years on July 9th, and, they are still so much "in love".......ahhhhh!
Aren't they just cute as pie.......which reminds me, I need to name this blog post a pie, right mother? Here goes, "I just love that man on a horse, glad I married him, and don't want to live without him" PIE. I think this pie would be made with chocolate and lots of meringue.
If you do not understand all of this pie stuff, read the blog post below entitled "Marshmallow Mermaid Pie".
This picture was taken on Mother's Day.
Love y'all,
