The Anniversary Party... :)

This is a day I want to remember, here goes: Mother and Daddy, married July 9, 1960. "50" great years and they are still in LOVE. I have included alot of pics so they can remember who came to the party. I am sure everyone is not in the pics, but I did my best! Fun, fun!

Mother is reading a letter her and daddy wrote to each other at school, way back in middle school, we think...hilarious...

Fabulous Day...they had fun! Food, family, friends, what more can you ask for!

Orange Leaf...

New Yogurt place, next to Newk's...Orange Leaf, self serve yogurt. The left side of the pic is the yogurt stations. You fill your cup with yogurt, add toppings, and weigh. It cost .45 ounce. You weigh your cup which is a little intimidating... hehe... It is good, fun and happy...

The Golden Rule...

Philippians 2:4 (New International Version)

I came across this verse this morning, and it just reinforces how I conduct my business. Just think how nice our world would be if we all practiced the Golden Rule.

Being home is fabulous! I am definitely a homebody! Vacation is nice, but, tonight I will sleep in my own bed without SAND! :)

Fork in the Road...

We must never forget that at the point of our greatest humiliation there is a fork in the road. At this fork we issue one of two cries. Either we declare: I am so destroyed that I must have all of God I can hold. Or we abdicate faith, saying: I know there is no God or he would not let me hurt like this! At this juncture of despair, we either fly to or from Christ. But the very pain that drives us from God often becomes the pain that heals our despair.
