Happy Anniversary Waller!...
So glad I have this man by my side. 10 years today.... Life is not perfect by all means but we have God in our lives, three girls and of course Layton! We are so blessed with health and everything we could possibly need.
I love you JB,

His town...
I gathered small items for Layton, gave him a cake board, and he created his own little town. Mind you, you do not touch his things! 🏡

Tiny Treasures...
"As you go through this day, look for tiny treasures strategically placed along the way. I lovingly go before you and plant little pleasures to brighten your day. Look carefully for them, and pluck them one by one. When you reach the end of the day, you will have gathered a lovely bouquet. Offer it up to Me with a grateful heart. Receive My Peace as you lie down to sleep, with thankful thoughts playing a lullaby in your mind." Jesus Calling

Gingerbread boys...
Layton and I love Gingerbread... this recipe is so good and it makes your house smell wonderful!
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup molasses
2 T vinegar
5 Cups Flour
1 1/2 t soda
1/2 t salt
2 1/2 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
1 t cloves
Cream shortening with sugar. Add egg, molasses and vinegar. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill 3 hours. Roll out on lightly floured board and cut with your favorite gingerbread boy. Place on greased cookie sheet, or use parchment paper. Bake at 375 for 5-6 minutes. Cool lightly and remove to a rack and cool. Decorate with confectioners icing! Note: I mix confectioners sugar with a little bit of water, you want it thick, put in a ziploc bag and cut a very small hole in the bottom corner of the bag!
