An economic outlook that says you’ll be busy next year
“The good news is that the housing market in Texas has turned the corner,” reported Mark Dotzour, chief economist at Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, during the association’s board of directors meeting. Dotzour said three factors indicate that transaction volume is going to rise in Texas next year: job growth, low interest rates on mortgages, and positive home appreciation. “So don’t take any vacations in 2014 because it will be a great time to sell homes.”
